Scott & Penny Lamberth, along with a small launch team, moved to Reno in Summer 2023 to launch Pathfinder Church. Scott has worked in various fields including small business ownership, social work, and psychotherapy. Scott was most recently on the pastoral staff with Stone Arbor Church in Riverside, CA; a church he and Penny helped start more than 16 years ago. Scott has earned a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from CBU; as well as 5 years of executive pastoral training through completion of the Antioch Program. Penny was born and raised in Nevada City, CA. She currently teaches 2nd grade at a local public school. They have an adult daughter and son who are both married and successfully starting their lives. Penny loves to walk, float the river, hike, backpack, and camp. Scott loves the same and enjoy snowboarding, fly fishing, and trad rock climbing. Their launch team all moved with them in order to help get Pathfinder Church started. They work various jobs including UNR faculty, video production, academic advising, construction, and graphic design. Each one volunteer their time for Pathfinder Church!
